Description

N-Desthiobiotin-N-bis(PEG4-NHS ester) is a compound consisting of N-desthiobiotin linked to two polyethylene glycol (PEG4) chains, each terminated with an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester group. Biotinylated antibodies or antigens prepared using N-Desthiobiotin-N-bis(PEG4-NHS ester) can be used in immunoassays and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). The strong interaction between biotin and avidin/streptavidin allows for sensitive detection and quantification of target analytes in biological samples.
