Description

Fmoc-Glu(biotinyl-PEG)-OH is a derivative of glutamic acid where glutamic acid is modified with a biotinyl-PEG moiety at its side chain carboxylic acid group. It possesses an Fmoc protecting group at its N-terminus and a free hydroxyl group at its C-terminus. Biotinylated peptides synthesized with Fmoc-Glu(biotinyl-PEG)-OH can be employed for cell surface labeling and targeting. These peptides can be conjugated to nanoparticles or imaging agents for specific binding to cell surface receptors, enabling targeted delivery of therapeutics or imaging probes to desired cell types.
